Mission
We wish to honor our Elders by ensuring they are protected by upgrading their homes to be more energy efficient and insulated from the extreme weather conditions
Why do we feel called to help Native American Elders?
I am a tribal member and I have traveled to Cheyenne River to hunt for years. I decided it was time to stop just taking and to start giving back in honor of my Mom, Uncle and their siblings who call the Cheyenne River, home.
My Team
Stephen French is a Cheyenne River Tribal member and my nephew. He is also a builder at home in Cody, Wyoming. Tim Chandler is also a Native American and has the same passion for helping the Elders as I do and is a skilled craftsman. Bill Ratliff got me started on missions and has been on many trips back to Cheyenne River with me to work on various projects. He is very compassionate and fascinated by history. He is honored, as we are, to be able to help. Our newest board member is Terry Spangler. He is a mission-minded man and craftsman by trade and has been on several trips to the Cheyenne River for projects. We've been doing this nonprofit work for many years now and formed a 501c3 charitable organization in 2018 to help support these efforts.
